New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi received a telephone call from the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu on October 10.

During the telephonic conversation, Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu provided an update on the ongoing situation in Israel.

Posted on X Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote, "I thank Prime Minister @netanyahu for his phone call and providing an update on the ongoing situation. People of India stand firmly with Israel in this difficult hour. India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations."


Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed deep condolences and sympathy for those killed and wounded as a result of the terrorist attacks in Israel and conveyed that people of India stand in solidarity with Israel in this difficult hour.

According to information, Palestine had attacked Israel four-days ago and now the Israeli airstrikes intensify in Gaza as war enters the 4th day today.

On October 7, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had posted on X, "Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel at this difficult hour."


Prime Minister Modi reiterated that India strongly and unequivocally condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

The PM highlighted the issue of safety and security of Indian citizens in Israel. Prime Minister Netanyahu assured of full cooperation and support.

Prime Minister Modi and his Israeli counterpart Netanyahu agreed to remain in close touch.
