New Delhi: More than 150 people have been killed due to the earthquake in western Nepal on Friday (November 3).
Prime Minister (P.M.) of India Narendra Modi on November 3 expressed deep grief over the loss of lives due to the earthquake.
PM Modi said that India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to extend all possible assistance.
"Deeply saddened by loss of lives and damage due to the earthquake in Nepal. India stands in solidarity with the people of Nepal and is ready to extend all possible assistance. Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and we wish the injured a quick recovery. @cmprachanda", posting on the social media platform X, PM Modi wrote.

According to the nodal agency of the Government of India for monitoring of earthquake activity in the country "National Center for Seismology (NCS)", the earthquake of magnitude was 6.4 which was occurred on 03-11-2023 at 23:32:54 IST and the location was Nepal at a depth of 10 km.
The Meteorological Centre at Patna in India had also posted on X yesterday about Nepal's earthquake.
Ambassador of Nepal to India Dr. Shankar P. Sharma thanked India for offering support in this difficult time and showing solidarity.
Taking to X, Ambassador of Nepal to India wrote, "An earthquake of magnitude 6.4 has resulted in hundreds of deaths and injuries in Western Nepal. 🇳🇵 Deeply saddened by loss of lives and damage and wish for a speedy recovery of those injured. Thankful to 🇮🇳 for offering support in this difficult time and showing solidarity."
Prime Minister of Nepal Pushpa Kamal Dahal "Prachanda" has expressed his deep sorrow over the human and material damage caused by the earthquake at Ramidanda in Jajarkot on Friday night.
