New Delhi: Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Union Affairs and Trade of Malta Ian Borg arrived in New Delhi on Friday.
The Spokesperson in the Ministry of External Affairs of India Arindam Bagchi took social media site X to welcome him.
The Spokesperson posted on X, "Warm welcome to FM @MinisterIanBorg of Malta to India. The visit will further strengthen our bilateral and multilateral ties."
External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar met with his Maltese counterpart Ian Borg today in the afternoon in New Delhi. Their talks covered India's increasing trade and commerce, investments and people to people ties with the Mediterranean. They also discussed cooperation with respect to the European Union and Africa.
