Egypt: India's humanitarian aid for the people of Palestine arrived in Egypt on October 22. Ambassador of India to Arab Republic of Egypt Ajit Gupte handed over the relief material to the Egyptian Red Crescent for onward transmission to Palestine.
The Egyptian Red Crescent is a humanitarian society that provides emergency medical services and humanitarian aid in Egypt.
Taking X, Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Arindam Bagchi posted that India's humanitarian aid for the people of Palestine arrived in Egypt and Ambassador of India to Arab Republic of Egypt Ajit Gupte handed over the relief material to Egyptian Red Crescent for onward transmission to Palestine.

Amid the war between Hamas and Israel, India on October 22 had sent humanitarian aid to Palestinians in Gaza. Nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief material have been sent to Palestine via Egypt. An IAF C-17 flight carrying nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief material for the people of Palestine had left for El-Arish airport in Egypt today.
Posting on X, MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi had written, "🇮🇳 sends Humanitarian aid to the people of 🇵🇸! An IAF C-17 flight carrying nearly 6.5 tonnes of medical aid and 32 tonnes of disaster relief material for the people of Palestine departs for El-Arish airport in Egypt."
"The material includes essential life-saving medicines, surgical items, tents, sleeping bags, tarpaulins, sanitary utilities, water purification tablets among other necessary items," the MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi further said on X today.
Indian Air Force had also posted on X on October 22, "An #IAF C-17 transport aircraft got airborne today morning for the Al Arish airfield in Egypt carrying over 38 tonnes of relief material and medical supplies."
