New Delhi: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will leave on a two-day visit to London in the United Kingdom (UK) on January 08.
It will be the first visit of Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to any country in the New Year (2024).
He will be accompanied by a high-level Ministry of Defence delegation, comprising senior officials from Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Service Headquarters, Department of Defence, and Department of Defence Production.
During his visit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will hold a bilateral meeting with his UK counterpart Secretary of State for Defence Grant Shapps.
They will discuss a wide range of defence, security and industrial cooperation issues.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh posted on X:

Mr. Rajnath Singh is also expected to call on the United Kingdom Prime Minister Rishi Sunak.
He will also hold a meeting with Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Affairs David Cameron.
During his visit, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also interact with the CEOs and industry leaders of the UK Defence Industry and meet with the Indian community there.
