New Delhi: The President of the United Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan will be visiting India from October 8-10. She is arriving in India at the invitation of the President of India Droupadi Murmu. President Samia Suluhu Hassan will be accompanied by various Ministers and a large business delegation.

The office of the Presidential Communications Directorate of Tanzania took social media site X and posted about President Samia Suluhu Hassan's India visit in Swahili language.

The High Commission of India at Dar es Salaam in Tanzania also posted on X about President of the United Republic of Tanzania's vist to India.


During her visit to India, President Samia Suluhu Hassan will meet her Indian counterpart. She will also be accorded a ceremonial welcome at the forecourt of Rashtrapati Bhawan and thereafter will hold a detailed bilateral dialogue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A state banquet will also be hosted by President Murmu in the honor of President Samia Suluhu Hassan of Tanzania.

President Samia Suluhu Hassan will also take a part in a business and investment forum in New Delhi on October 10.

Ministry of External Affairs of India further said in its statement that a Presidential visit from Tanzania is taking place after a span of over 8 years. The upcoming visit will further invigorate and strengthen the historic and friendly relations between India and Tanzania.
